Through its flagship events, the Melbourne Art Fair and the Melbourne Art Foundation Awards for the Visual Arts, we bring together the commercial, social, cultural and environmental threads that underpin and sustain the vibrant Australian visual arts ecology.
Committed to servicing the needs of artists, galleries, collectors and visitors, we lead the way in building national and international audiences and markets for the work of Australia’s living contemporary artists.
Our mission is to support and promote Australian contemporary artists.

The Melbourne Art Fair is an international contemporary art fair that takes place biennially during Melbourne Art Week. It is one of the most important platforms for promoting contemporary artists in Australia, attracting more than 20,000 collectors, curators, museum professionals and art enthusiasts.
Awards for the Visual Arts
The Melbourne Art Foundation Awards for the Visual Arts is a biannual event that, since 2005, celebrates excellence and outstanding contributions to the Australian visual arts sector.
